Q.

hi, my 4 month old baby is affected with constipation from last 2 months. Is it normal to have constipation at this age, what are the ways to come out from this problem? please help

A. it is very normal for small children not to pass stool for 10 days also and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of stool but you have to consider it as constipation only if it is hard and dry stool

A. Hello ma’am It is not normal to have constipation at any age and this is an age with there should be no constipation they should be free flow but still constipation I think you can consult a doctor for some medication but only exclusive breastfeeding is more than enough for the child
