Hi my 2year old son grinds his teeth often and we gave him albendazole 400 mg 10 ml syrup on saturday night soon after Dinner. Sunday afternoon, he started slight loose motion and then Sunday night. he passes twice not too watery and had foul smelly farts(gas) and around 1Am,early monday morning, he started fever. Does De worming syrup cause fever n loose motion?!!! what is the remedy?! or does he have some intestinal infection?!

A. Hi, mostly it won't, it's a, safe medicine, he might already having some infection previous to giving albendazole, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.
