Q.

hi .. my 20 month old baby girl has fever and I can see goosebumps... also she pooped 5 times today and last two times had mucus... please help... given paracetamol drops... keeping her hydrated

A. hi your baby is 20 months old now she is having fever with chills which cause goose bumps.she is mostly suffering from stomach infection for now give paracteamol syrup and give plenty of fluids including milk and visit your pediatrician tomorrow and get appropriate antibiotics

A. Hello ma’am If there is mucus in the motion then it could be a sign for stomach infection and maybe the fever is due to that only so continue with paracetamol every eight hours and start doing cold sponge to the child for the time being to bring down the fever and do consult your paediatrician tomorrow if needed go for a stool test and after that only a proper medication can be suggested to you
