Q.

Hi my 2 years toddler is having severe cough since 1.5 weeks. I have given honey with ginger along with doctor prescribed medicines - norvent 2.5 ml , 3 times a day and azithromycin 2.5 ml night only.

A. kindly continue the medicine given by your doctor and take a follow up after few days of starting medicine. follow up is also required because the doctor will tell you whether you have to continue the same medicines or there will be changedf in the medicines .

A. Other than that I think if it is due to the severe congestion you should nebulise the child also because the medicine is going to travel through directly into lungs and all and is going to help in opening up the congestion that is there and it’s completely safe procedure to be done
