ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist8 years agoA. try and introduce variety of foods for baby. fresh fruits, all veggies, dals, different types of rice should be given. have attractive dishes, spoons to catch her attention. you can read stories , sing songs for her while feeding. you can also set examples of good eating habits from your own habits. avoid packed powders. you can add crushed dryfruits, soaked dates, gulkand for making nutritious milkshakes. you can give curd , buttermilk that is other dairy products if child doesn't like milk much. they too have same nutritional value. small cut pieces of banana, small roti rolls, cheese slice cut in small pieces, cut cucumber, soaked raisins can be served as finger foods

PreranaMom of a 12 yr 5 m old girl8 years agoA. try one more Decided your child meal shedule... try giving him some toys while feeding. make sure toys like blocks toys or something interesting brain toys . it will keep his mind busy in building blocks.. n coloring and not on food. so chances of denying the scoops gets low.

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children8 years agoA. No by this time the toddler should have a full meal make him eat from your plate tell stories sing songs recite some poems interact a lot while eating don't force feed keep trying will require a lot patience but don't give up

Eat together as a family and make mealtimes relaxed, happy occasions Make food easy to eat finger foods are good. Eat the foods that you would like your toddler to eat. Praise your toddler when he or she eats well or tries something new .. toddlers take time to learn to like new foods Never insist your toddler eats everything on his or her plate Offer two courses at each meal and only offer nutritious snacks. so they can choose one of them Encourage physical activity for at least three hours every day and about 12 hours sleep All activity such as active play inside and outside, walking, running and dancing counts. Limit TV and other screen time like tablets to just 1 hour a day. Choose colorful baby feeding spoons.... coloured ones will help to focus your baby’s attention .. feeding bowl aslo play important role..
