Q.

Hi my 2 year daughter swallowed a piece of dry coconut suddenly she started coughing and not able to breath properly I gave her banana and warm water now she is ok but still having cough is it harmful should I consult a padetrician kindly help πŸ™πŸ»

A. I just consulted one paediatrician he told that nothing to worry about and prescribed viral medicine but she is not well and couldn’t sleep last night having cough which started after the incident and still not able to sleep m worried in morning she ate half bread and approx 150 ml warm milk should I go for a chest x-ray kindly suggest ?

A. majorly it wont be a problem but if it is a big coconut piece then it may block windpipe and can cause problem so better consult your paediatrician once for proper assessment and evaluation.
