hi My 2 months old daughter having red rash underneck. Pediatrician gave me atonide gel for this and after applying it become white around patch pls see the pic . what is this should I see doctor or will it go off on its own. Thanks srividhya

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. now you will have to apply moisturizing regularly and then only skin colour will gradually come back.
kindly apply moisturizing lotion or cream (any good brand any good brand like atogla, venussia, oliatum, sebamed , citaphil etc ) or virgin coconut oil on the skin 4 to 5 times per day. regular moisturizer helps in decreasing chances of dry skin as well as prevents skin rash dermatitis during all season.
use moisturizing soap.
do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allergy or rash on the skin.
avoid using hard water for bath.
moisturizing cream / lotion to be applied at more frequent intervals.

It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
