Q.

Hi my 2 months old baby sleeps in day and is awake whole night. Most of the time he is crying and gets calm only after breast feeding. He overfeeds in night and vomits because of that.I also tried introducing pacifier but he is not taking that. what is the solution for this?

A. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops f containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicone. other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometdimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .

A. Siri is not necessary that your child is hungry so this is why your over feeding the child by thinking that breastfeeding your child Er going to be quiet if you keep feeding the child so that’s the reason for all these things go ahead with giving medicine for stomach when your child could be suffering with an issue of colic
