Q.

Hi my 2 month old son is trying to suck his thumb when he is sleepy but unable to do it so he gets frustrated and cries. Sometimes he puts his whole fist in the mouth but he is not satisfied. At such situation he doesn't want to nurse, he pulls away. Is this common? How can I calm him?

A. this is way of self stimulation in the baby nothing to worry for further advice in this regard you better consult your doctor for physical examination investigations if required then only proper treatment can be given and advise also in this regard
