hi mere baby ko dry cough hua hai..mild hai throat aur chest me..plz koie remedies bataye..he is 6th month old..wo feeding Kar Raha hai.active hai..but Uske gale me cough lag Raha hai..Dr ki medicine chal rahi hai..

ExpertDr Sheetal AggarwalObstetrician and Gynaecologist6 years agoA. if child is active and taking feed properly then need not worry continue medication as prescribed by pediatrician...for cough and congestion give indirect steam 2-3 times a day...it will help to clear throat...

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. hi avoid cold climate, cold winds. give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby. indirect steam , hot water bath will also help. consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases. post illness babies might be cranky , irritable. nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position. feed by spoon otherwise. Maintain hygiene. if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections. have a great day ... ..
