POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 months agoA. It sounds like your baby is having acute diarrhea with recent vomiting, which may be due to a stomach infection (viral or bacterial). Since vomiting has stopped, that’s a good sign, but continued loose motions can quickly lead to dehydration, especially in babies. Until you see the doctor at 10 am, keep offering oral rehydration solution (ORS) in small sips every 10–15 minutes. If your baby is breastfeeding, continue breastfeeding frequently. Avoid giving any solid food or cow's milk for now. Look out for signs of dehydration like dry lips, sunken eyes, decreased urine, or unusual drowsiness. If any of these appear, go to the emergency room without waiting.
