Q.

hi mam . my son dwveloped fever few hours back i have given him calpol 2.5 ml but there is no decrease in fever . he is 2.5 years ols and 12 kg weight . righr now no doctora are available here nereby .because of holi leave please suggest .

A. Hello, your baby boy is 2.5 years old and he is having a fever and he needs syrup ibugesic plus 4 ml three times a day and plenty of water and fruits juice

A. The type of infection causing the fever usually determines how often the fever recurs and how long the fever lasts. Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic.
