hi mam, i wanted to ask u that when I was 4 weeks pregnant i was prescribed piriton cs syrup for my throat allergy. is there any problem on my baby because of taking that. now i am 5 months pregnant again i got allergy again doctor given me piriton expectorant for 7 days. can I take that Medicine.is there any problem

A. Hello dear Yes you can take this medication and it is considered safe during pregnancy and you can take it. As do salt water gargles if you have any throat irritation
