A. Typically, the gender of the baby can be determined through an ultrasound around 18 to 20 weeks of pregnancy. This is during the anatomy scan, which checks for the baby’s growth and development. However, some newer techniques, such as non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), can provide an indication of the baby’s gender as early as 10 weeks of pregnancy. If you want to know the gender, you can discuss with your healthcare provider about scheduling an anatomy scan around 18 to 20 weeks, or inquire about earlier testing options if available.
