Hi mam I had uti so I use alkacitral syrup for 3 days and washed my private parts with dettol and water to keep away infection it makes my vagina dry . now I came to know dettol shouldn't be used to clean Private part I am very much concerned what can I do now? please help

Dr.SwetaMom of a 9 yr 1 m old boy6 years agoA. don't worry about it. please don't use dettol from now on.. use intimate wash liquid like very wash or pee safe . it moisturize and doesn't dry the area. daily cleaning Is safe . drink lots of water and also hydrate with fruits Apple avocado

meghali BorahMom of a 8 yr 11 m old boy6 years agoA. Yes dettol shouldn't be used to wash the vagina . The vulva is self cleaning and Need not use anything like soaps etc to clean it. Just plain water is fine to wash it. If it has become dry now then you can use Vwash to maintain the oh level but please visit a gynaecologist too
