Hi mam! Does saffron milk improve baby's complexion. Me and husband have fair complexion but baby born little dark. Now, her legs become more dark than face and body. Does she will stay dark or the complexion will change like ours. We are so happy that we got a healthy baby. People who comes to visiting us scolding me for not consuming saffron milk. A. It's totally a myth which has no scientific evidence. It is a myth that most of Indians follow but scientifically it is baseless. Complexion depends on the genes and you can't predict a baby's original complexion at this age. It keeps changing. Also did you give phototherapy to the baby this can be also a reason but it will be fine with time . About the people scolding you, please do not let it affect you it is your baby and however the child it should be healthy happy and active, that s the only thing should matter. take care
