Q.

Hi Madam/Sir My second child needs to be vaccinated in the 6th week of immunization currently my child is 1 month 14 days and is affected with cold is it k to get vaccinated ? #Vaccination

A. yes simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable cnot to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. Yes you can get it done at the time of common cold and cough it’s not a problem it is no only not advisable when the child is having fever but in general course of life you can definitely get it done it’s not a problem
