Hi Madam/ sir I'm suffering from soar throat from last week, slightly tongue & throat is swelling.. doctor prescribed me zincovita for 15 days & salt eater gargle but still im feeling soar throat & tongue swelling sometimes again doctor prescribed me pantop 40mg - 10 days- once per day , Amoxicillin 500mg for 10 days , 3 times a day... i can use Novamox 500 tablet - Amoxicillin 500mg ? Thank you

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. yes, you can take it.. Drinking warm tea or gargling with lukewarm salt water solution also helps prevent dry cough. Getting enough sleep will help heal your body and stimulate recovery. Take basil leaves and honey, grind and mix well to make a smooth paste. Consume this every day to soothe dry coughs. Drinking plenty of water will allow you to stay hydrated
