hi is it safe for 9 months old baby to have Zenflox suspension syrup (5ml).. my peads prescribed this..

Author of questionGuardian of a 6 yr old girl5 years agoA. but in the description sheet for the syrup attached in the bottle..they have mentioned as it should not be used under age of 18years... is that fine?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children5 years agoA. certain medicines are contraindicated in babies and then zenflox is one of them if in rare circumstances if it is a drug of choice you may have to use it with certain limitations in babies

If it is prescribed by your paediatrician then yes you can give it. Always follow the medication given by your doctor. Don’t give any medicine if it is not prescribed by a doctor. The medicines which are prescribed by doctors are safe to give so you can gave it to baby.
