Q.

Hi is it ok to both breastfeed and bottle feed the expressed milk..?

A. Yes you can do so but the express milk should be given with the help of katori spoon it is not advisable to give bottle feeding to the child because in the long run it can lead to infections as well as can cause problems in the the tooth eruption of the child. it is advisable that you should go for either katori spoon feeding and later on with the help of a small baby glass feeding or sipper feeding

A. Yup Absolutely it would completely depend on your comfort if you want to go ahead with both of feeding for the child but you are just giving breastfeeding only all the way then that’s very good you can continue with it in the same manner without any issue

Q. #AskTheExpert Hello, my son is 2 months and 10 days old. He drinks only breast milk. However, I have observed that when he drinks directly from the breast he vomits a lot and when he drinks expressed breastmilk from a bottle, he vomits relatively less. He has reflux problems from the beginning and hence we feed him in an upright position in both breast and bottle. Is this normal? Is it ok to feed him milk expressed into a bottle?
