Q.

Hi! Is it necessary to give multivitamins/minerals to kids even if they are fed on normal home diet? Just wanted to know if our food has any nutrient shortage which needs to be compensated. Thanks

A. Dear parent, there is no need to give any sort of multivitamins or mineral supplements to kids if you are already giving a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups.
