hi is it a good idea to use pacifier for night time weaning. my kid just comforts at night by sucking on breast not feeding. as I'm planning to stop bf can I use pacifier

A. Apporx hw much ML milk shld 1 yr baby shld drink in day and in night

A. Personally I think you will then be setting her another routine(using pacifiers) which u have to wean again after sometime. Rather u can try some other stuffs like letting her play long in the evening and after she gets tired, letting some one else to put her to sleep or playing a soothing music to put her to sleep, rubbing her back etc.,

A. pacifier or soother is not suggested to babies at all... it will be a habit which is very difficult to remove later.. it will like jumping from one habit to other habit also it hampers the teeth formation... Also the pacifier can lead to bad breath in the babies... also if the baby continually used it then baby will not suck the breast longer and it can lead to less feeding also which can hampers his overall development... so refrain from using pacifier...

A. He will get into habit of Pacifier then. You can apply a new juice a paste to keep him from sucking and gradually wean him
