Q.

Hi, In my babies stool routine test.The pus cells are 15-20 per hpf.Is it normal?

A. Yes its normal only If baby is passing adequate urine ie minimum 6-8 times per day Then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or 15 times per day- both conditions normal) Don't give so much importance to motion unless blood in motion or bad smelling motion Keep ur baby well hydrated Continue to give Breast milk Don't give water and other food items at this age Wait for some more days Everything will be alright If blood in stool or less urine output then consult with nearest pediatrician

A. My daugter has loose motions since last 5 days. Doctor Told me to do stool test.reports show 4-6 pus cells in her stool .everything is negative. Please tell me is 4-6 pus cells are normal in stool?

A. It's good and better to consult with your doctor and follow your doctors advise. It could be the best option as they know our kids body well.
