Q.
Hi,im d mother of 3 yr old child last few days my son suffered in constipation so we take him to hospital and doctor suggest polyethylene glycol oral laxative liquid syrup now he passing stool easily but seperate stools some are floating is this normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation is usually a very common problem seen in many where the most important caugfsative factor is decrease intake fiber rich diet along with leshser fluid intake.
some food like junk food mostly containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition.
here the diet modification should be tried first followed by medications like lactulose milk of magnesia and muout powder.
