Q.

hi..iam 36weeks pregnant.. my Amniotic fluid index is 17.1.. is this normal?

A. It is normal. Infact a bit high. But not to worry about that. Have regular follow up with your doctor. During pregnancy have easy to digest foods like fruit, daal, rice, jawar bhakri, green leafy vegetables and soups. These help you with proper nourishment, because they get absorbed easily and don't cause indigestion. Eat Foods High in Fiber. Including protein in your diet can boost metabolism, decrease appetite and maintain health. Avoid taking protein powder. Keep healthy foods like fruit, vegetables, nuts and yogurt at home and easily accessible. Avoid processed foods. Avoid heavy and hard to digest foods. Daily walk, Regular mild exercise and yoga is very necessary to maintain health. Try pranayama and recite the “OM” mantra.. Be happy to have a healthy baby.

A. looks normal but conuslt with your doctor for examination and treatment. colorful foods are low in calories and filled with fiber, vitamins and minerals. Lean protein: Pregnant women should include goodprotein sources at every meal to support the baby's growth, ... Dairy foods, such as milk, yogurt and cheese are good dietary sources of calcium, protein and vitamin D. maintain active lifestyle unless contraindicated by your gynecologist

A. An AFI between 8-18 is considerednormal. Median AFI level is approximately 14 from week 20 to week 35, when the amniotic fluid begins to reduce inpreparation for birth. in addition I would like to discuss the please consult the gynecologist for expert advice

A. please check with the range prescribe on the reports as well as check with the gynecologist there is no issue because after two weeks you will enter into the phase when you can deliver your baby so nothing to be worried about this may be positive
