hi..I want to know how much time vaginal stitches take to dissolve after birth?

Dr Rashmi SriramGuardian of a 9 yr 5 m old girl7 years agoA. Hi, it takes 3 weeks for the stitches to dissolve. Till then hygienic maintainance is important. Sitz bath is important. Use antibiotic ointment twice daily for a week for better healing

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children7 years agoA. hello dear it will take minimum 40 days and maximum 3 months this we say because external heel within 40 to 50 days but internal stitches take some time for you need to take proper especially ten 3 months along with that you need to take care of the hygiene as well and also of your diet which is very important after the delivery to revive your body properly
