hi i m mother of 8 months old baby boy...he had 101° fever from last night..pls suggest some medicine ..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. you have to give paracetamol according to the weight and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
it can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
weather higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p is required or not will be told by dthe doctor.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
important to avoid them if possible.
do body sponge to decrease the body temperature and give plentyf of fluids and water to drink to prevent dehydration.
