Q.

Hi. I'm 5 months pregnant with weight 88kgs and height 5'4. At the time of conceiving i was at 80kgs. I'm concerning about my weight gain. I would like to know, if this have any repercussions on my normal delivery? What should I do now to be healthy and for having normal delivery.

A. Hello For over weight females, total weight gain in 9 months of pregnancy, should be 8 to 10 kg. Higher weight gain is not healthy as it can cause excessive fat gain Try to limit intake of fried foods, sugar, sweets junk foods, bakery foods . walk daily & take more of vegetables fruits salads & protein rich foods
