Q.

hi I have tested covid positive and I just delivered a baby girl she is of 25 days, covid doctor suggested many medications and also asked to stop breastfeeding for 10days bcoz of his prescribed medicine but my baby paediatrician says u can continue with breast feed... I am totally confused what to do?? pls help

A. so I should continue feeding, as I have also seen posters in hospital , if mother is covid positive keep feeding the child... so what medication I should take for corona

A. Hello, your baby girl is newborn just 25 days old and you are Covid positive and doctor has asked to stop breast feeding so it’s not advisable at all as you can give her breast feeding

A. if your baby is covid negative better to stop breastfeeding to the baby at least for two weeks you can once again try the feeding the baby once the Quarantine period is over
