Q.

Hi! I have my wife and 5days old baby in a room. As per indian tradition, flames of burning coal with cow dung is supposed to be postpartum ritual. Please can you tell me if the smoke/flames are same for the baby?

A. No it is not good for your child I do understand there are some traditions in some families but this smoke that comes out is very unhealthy for your child and even for your wife right now because your wife is also poor on her immunity she delivered a child she’s lost a lot in her from her body itself so it’s not good for the child and even for your wife right now
