hi.. i have blocked milk ducts from last 7-8 days on my right breast.Its big size duct about 1/3 of my breast.Yesterday met a gynecologist she said it has formed a cyst and can lead to infection with pus or something.She gave me painkillers, antibiotics and vimcee tablets and told to take for 3 days if cyst doenst reduces then may be a surgery is required.she told me to express the milk but i cannot as nipple gets swollen and it is very painful.Only i exclusively breastfeed my 5 month old baby from both breast. i am really worried.Is the doctor suggestion is ok.is this normal.She said you should not have waited for 7 days its late now.I am going for second consultantion tomorrow.
