Q.

Hi I have a 6month old daughter. In her vaccination card the typhoid vaccine (tcv) is supposed to be given at 7 months, but the doctor gave the prescription for the same at 6 months. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

A. it means that the typhoid vaccine needs to be given at the end of 6 months of age that is at the starting of 7 months of age. it is not given at the starting of 6 months of age

A. hi as per who standard TCV is for atleast 6 months old so minimum age should be 6 months 6 months age is a common starting point for this but in some countries or regions might have slightly different recommendations so please follow the schedule which is suggested by your pediatrician
