Q.

Hi, I gave adults otrivin oxy nasal drops, one drop in each nostrils to my 7 months old baby by mistake. And I breastfed him soon in 10 min but he vomited back. He looks fine now, but I’m worried.. Kindly help me to understand if it is harmful for the baby and what should I do next

A. you need not to worry about it but I would suggest you to be careful in the future do I would suggest you to use a nasal saline spray if nasal block is there

A. Hello Dear Parent, please be careful from next time. Adult otrivin is way too strong for a seven months old baby. Now that baby has Vomited , hopefully that drop gas also come out. But if you still find anything unusual, immidiately consult your paediatric.
