Q.

Hi, I did ivf transfer on mar 17th. I did 2 scans. 1st scan measures embryonic size as 0.52 cm & GA as 6 w 2d & 2nd scan which I did after 2 weeks shows that 0.37cm. No heartbeat found on both scans. Is there any chance that size gets reduced? Dr said that it is a miscarriage & need to do D&C.

A. hello size being reduced no heartbeat also then can be miscarriage and you may get d& C done for more clarity which could be better as advised by your doctor.. the size can never reduce bt can also have error with the scanning if done elsewhere recheck under doctors supervision
