Hi I am now 6 weeks 5 days pregnant as per the missed date, but after doing sonography doctor told me that there is late consumption and heartbeat is not yet formed as report shows it is 5 . 5 weeks.. prescribed medicine are DUPHASTON 10 mg and ECOSPRIN 75 mg and asked me to come in the next week can you please suggest us more on this…

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Hello dear Wait and watch is the policy for now. The heart rate should be formed and normal by 6 weeks of pregnancy. So wait for 2 weeks and get the scan done again.

You might have to wait till the next sonography appointment to get a clear understanding and assessment. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all day. Keep your doctor posted about any changes or developments. Good luck and take care.
