Q.

hi, I am lactating mother for a 2 month old baby. I have got severe fundal skin infection underarms. doctor suggested me to take itraconazole 200 and 100,pruban 10 mg medicine.He is aware about BF. I saw in Google that it is not safe for lactating mother and for baby Can anyone help me.

A. it is secreted but in very less quantity in breastfeeding milk. the child should not have any problem. and you can follow the doctor as well as continue breast feeding of the child. but if you are concerned that then you can stop breastfeeding and shift to alternate milk
