Hi, I am a new mom of 10days old baby. Need suggestion regarding diet. Can I hv knorr vegetable soup ...???

ExpertArchanaNutritionist5 years agoA. Hi Mom, market bought soup is processed with salts and preservatives, hence would suggest you to have homecooked vegetable soup, do not strain it and avoid cream / butter.
also try to focus on healthy eating with adequate fluids like water, buttermilk, milk amd milk products etc, healthy fats, ghee and galactagogue like shatavari powder, methi seeds and aliv (halim, garden cress seeds - avoid for thyroid issues), this will improve quality and quantity of breastmilk. Include healthy, balanced amd homecooked food. maintain regular eating schedule after 2 hours gap.
continue exclusive breastfeeding to baby for 6 months., maintain good hygiene, regular intervals feeding and avoid force feeding.

ExpertKanika AroraNutritionist5 years agoA. hello dear mom it is good to avoid gaseous vegetable and heavy Dal like chana rajma for the initial 40 days post delivery also try to avoid any kind of packaged products and have only home cooked meals include lots of fluid and fibre with milk twice a day and breast feed the baby exclusively for the initial 6 months
