Q.

Hi, I am a 8 months postpartum mom. I dint get my periods yet and we are planning to visit few temples next week. So can I take primolut N when breastfeeding is it okay?

A. It is best to consult your gynac. If you haven't got your period in postpartum period I would suggest please go do the temple visit without any worry. Having medication is unnecessary or could just simply induce periods. If your baby is actively breastfeeding even 6 times in a day it is unlikely you might get your periods soon.

A. Do not breastfeed if you are taking this medicine. The active ingredient in Primolut N passes into breast milk and there is a possibility that your baby may be affected. Do not give this medicine to a child.
