Q.

Hi. I am 36 weeks 3 D pregnant .I have a cervical fibroid of size 2.4 × 1.8 cm in the anterior wall of uterus. My AFI is 11.2 cm and the head is just entering the pelvic brim.I am Rh-ve. Is the chance of normal delivery low due to the fibroid ? Will the fibroid disappear on its own ?

A. Hello dear It won’t reduce during pregnancy and might reduce after giving birth. It might hinder the vaginal delivery process. Your doctor will be a better judge to decide the mode of delivery

A. It Normally do not disappear on its own will have to go for a proper treatment for that so I think once you deliver maybe you’ll have to have medicines to eliminate it also at the same time I really cannot tell you whether in normal delivery is possible or not that will completely depend on the situation by the end
