Q.
Hi, how to know wether or not my son (3yrs1month) is mildly autistic or in the spectrum. He can recite a to z Can say numbers, animals etc. Will ask for milk but not food except a few times (usually screams) Takes quiet some time to mingle with people except some with whom he will mingle fast. He is now playing with some familiar kids but not yet speaking with them. Please suggest.

The basic symptoms for autism could probably be that your child is not going to make any eye contact the child will not bother paying attention when you call them with the name they are only busy in their own world they only respond well to music or rhymes if they have heard of any place they don’t care even if you keep shouting on their head they don’t even bother because they don’t know you’re talking to them so if your child is doing other things with what you are mentioning seems completely normal
