and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits
so they will ask for milk according to their requirement

It Would completely depends from child to child some kids are sleeping for 4 to 5 hours at a stretch so they do not ask for milk and when they wake up they have milk at that time only so approximately 3 to 4 hours on the minimum side is a time where you can expect your child be sleeping not having and even if they’re up like about three hours they can easily pass
