Hi, For my baby is suffering with frequent sick due to Adenoids. And ENT doctor suggested to go for Adenoids removal. Is that good to go for surgery and what are impacts after that? Any one please suggest?

Author of questionFather of a 6 yr 10 m old girl2 years agoA. Yes Doctor.. She is almost getting caught infection every 2 weeks.. But if the Adenoids got removed what happens when they are taking breathe? As far as I know Adenoids can prevent the bacteria virus while breathing through nose.. Can you please clarify this?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. if having trouble if you having recurrent infections then you can think of going for surgery. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
