Once your baby completes 6 months you can start giving semi solids like ragi, homemade cerelac, mashed bananas, apple purée, daal or chaaval paani in small quantities. Give sips of water in between meals. Continue breastfeeding your baby. Good luck and take care.
Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Once the baby completes 6 months, you can start with one solid meal or one semi solid meal per day initially and then increase gradually. Start with either rice Ka Pani or Dal Ka Pani or rice porridge or mashed carrot or clear vegetable soup or any one vegetable puree or any one fruit puree or stewed apple or stewed pear. Offer one food item for 3 days to find out the foods the baby may be allergic to and then on the 4th day, start with a new food item.
