Hi everyone, my 1 year old baby boy had fever on 15th morning, we have showed him doctor on 16th. Doctor gave him Augpen-hs 5ml twice daily before food and Elriz syrup for 7 days 2.5 ml once daily. In two days his feber subsided but started coughing a lot, now doctor suggested to give nebulizer, we gave him the same. however i am obersing that he is having 99.5 *f tempreture and hia head is beconea hot at night. kindly suggest me what to do.

A. You can give paracetamol to the child every six hours as of now the fever will subside with that but can you please check with your doctor why such heavy amount of medicines have been suggested for the child because 5ML is generally a dose for a child whose 4 to 6 years of age depending upon their weight and 2.5 ML is approximately for a child who was in the age of 2 to 3 years so I think the amount of the medicine is very high rest you can check with the doctor ones
