Hi everyone I have baby girl tomorrow she is completing 3months, I have very less lactation I am giving formula feed to my baby, but my baby is not weight gaining, while birth she was 2kg 100grams only, now after 3months completing now stil she is 4kg only plz suggest me any doctors how to weight gain my baby, can I start now ragi malt

A. Babies require between 150 ml and 200 ml of formula per kg of body weight each day. That is if a baby weighs 3 kg, it will need between 450 ml and 600 ml of formula per day. Even after the baby eating the correct amount of formula milk per day, if he or she is still not putting on weight, discuss this with your doctor. Ragi malt can be started only when the baby completes 6 months of age. Formula milk or breast milk is the only option till then.
