hi Dr y name is Rashmi my daughter is 21 month old. vo abhi tak sirf mamma or papa ka Alva kuch nahi bolti. hamra ghar me mera husband uss sa marathi ma baat karta ha or me Gujarati ma. to kya ya reson ho sakta ha uska abhi tak Naa bolna ka? vo 2 language sa confused ho sakti ha?

A. It is very simple your child is confuse you are already introducing three languages to the child Hindi Marathi Gujarati and maybe English also you are speaking so your child is unable to pick up on anything see when you teach your child a language for stick to basic to languages like Hindi and English that’s most common in the entire nation basically or if you have a mother take other than Hindi that’s common then go for that mother tongue and English punch your child is in the age of 6 to 7 years then you can introduce other languages like Marathi and Gujarati but currently you should focus upon two languages which are important otherwise your child will get confused over and over and there will be a delay in the speech that because it is going to be due to lack of understanding and overburdening of another languages
