Q.
Hi Dr , My son is 6mons old not yet started solids..we travelled to our native which is quite hotter than our place, And I had food from Asanam( church food ) since then me along with my son had loose stools 2nd day I took loperamide n I recovered..Now it’s been 4 days for him, stools followed by gas, 10-15 tyms/ day, His urine output is Normal, He is active and 6kg currently and today I gave him ORS thrice 10ml n econorm sachet along with zincovit n vit D3 drops..Should I wait for him to settle or should I need to check with nearby Hosp ? If I have to wait how long econorm to b given or any change in medication ?

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. Sir I am stuck in a village with no proper medical facilities..And ppl around me suggesting traditional methods n i am a MBBS graduate I dint Wanna follow those.. Is econorm enough or should I add taxim along with econorm ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. this maybe some loose motions so you can continue econorm for 3 days and follow the instruction given by your doctor and continue with the medicines suggested he will guide you accordingly
