Q.

hi dr my baby is 1year 4 months. should I stop brest milk or when should I stop brest milk. my mother said after two years it's very difficult to stop brest milk. is that true ? please answer me

A. Hello mom after the age of 1 you can gradually reduce the feeds , as now their major part of the diet should be through family foods, as the more late you try to wean the more difficult it gets. though maximum till age of 2 to 2.5 years you can feed

A. At least 2-2.5 years continue breastfeeding the baby as it is good for their healthy growth and development. If your milk is not sufficient then you can give formula milk. For this consult the pediatrician. My sister's baby is 13 months old and in a mixed feed. Her pediatrician recommended Dexolac Stage 2 formula milk. Thankfully from day one it suited the baby so well.
