Q.
Hi dr. My baby boy was 1 yr 11 months old.From past three days he was suffering from fever,cold,cough.Yesterday, we went to hospital.doctor suggested blood test and xray.Both are done.But,In blood test report my baby hemoglobin was 7 doctor said blood was very low need to give blood transfusion to your baby.It is mandatory to give blood transfusion to my baby? If doctors do blood transfusion anything can happen to my baby?

See I would just advise you that you please check with another two or three doctors I do agree that haemoglobin is really very less but check with the doctor giving drip or maybe giving injections is going to help in increase that because that would be a better option other than blood transfusion and such a small age
