A. Hello, Know your child’s particular triggers to avoid exposure Implement a daily bathing and moisturizing routine to protect skin and lock in moisture Lukewarm soaking baths (less than 10-20 minutes) Mild soaps that are fragrance free and with a neutral or low pH Moisturizing skin immediately after bath . contact with your paediatrician

A. Try adding colloidal oatmeal to your baby's bathwater to help improve dry skin, diaper rashes, mild eczema, and other skin ailments. Oatmeal baths aren't a cure for anything, but they can help ease symptoms along with other skin care treatment. For most babies, calamine lotion is safe to use. It can relieve general itchiness, eczema, sunburn, and other common skin conditions. However, you should talk to your child's pediatrician before using calamine lotion.
